Lytham Festival 2026: 15 Years of Live Music on the Fylde Coast

Lytham Festival 2026: 15 Years of Live Music on the Fylde Coast

It started as a village fete. Fifteen years later, Lytham Festival is the North West's largest music event — drawing 25,000 fans a night to the Lancashire coast and booking some of the biggest names in pop, rock, and rap. The 2026 edition is the most ambitious yet, and if you're heading down (or just living vicariously), here's everything you need to know — plus where to grab official merch before the crowds do.

A Festival That Grew Up in Public

Lytham Festival launched in 2011 with modest ambitions. Co-founder Peter Taylor has described it simply: "I'm the custodian of it, but it belongs to Lytham." That community-first ethos has never left — locals were given early access to the 2026 site to watch the final touches go in — but the scale has transformed entirely. International headliners, tens of thousands of fans, and a reputation that now reaches well beyond the North West.

The 15th anniversary lineup is the clearest proof yet of how far it's come.

Lytham Festival 2026: Full Lineup by Day

Wednesday 1 July — Teddy Swims, Lauren Spencer Smith & Jordan Rakei

The festival opened with two of the most emotionally raw voices in contemporary pop. Teddy Swims delivered a set that had the Lytham crowd in the palm of his hand — soulful, anthemic, and built for a crowd singing every word. If you weren't there, you can still rep him: grab the Wrestling Tee (Sand) or the Retro Bootleg Tee (Black) from our official range. Lauren Spencer Smith and Jordan Rakei rounded out the evening with equal conviction.

Thursday 2 July — Alanis Morissette & Skunk Anansie

Tonight's the night. Alanis Morissette takes the Lytham stage in one of only five UK performances this summer — and it's a redemption arc worth celebrating. Her 2025 Lytham set was cancelled due to severe weather, leaving 25,000 fans disappointed. Tonight she makes it right.

The seven-time GRAMMY winner is touring behind a career-spanning setlist, and if you want to arrive dressed for the occasion, our Official Alanis Morissette Merch UK collection has you covered — from the iconic Ironic Silhouette tee to the Rose T-Shirt that's been flying out this week.

Support comes from Skunk Anansie, the Brixton rock outfit who've been one of the UK's most electrifying live acts since the mid-90s. If you're a fan, check out our full write-up: Alanis Morissette's 2026 UK & Ireland Tour with Skunk Anansie — Dates, Setlist Predictions & Merch.

Friday 4 July — Michael Bublé

The Canadian crooner brings his signature big-band swing to the Fylde coast. Michael Bublé is one of the most consistent live performers in the world — expect a set packed with Haven't Met You Yet, Feeling Good, and enough charm to win over even the most reluctant festival-goer dragged along by a partner.

Saturday 4 July — Pet Shop Boys: Dreamworld — The Greatest Hits Live

The most talked-about booking of the 2026 festival. The Pet Shop Boys were famously requested by a local resident who "sent a nice email which was picked up by their agent" — and it worked. Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe bring their Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live production to Lytham, a show that's been described as one of the most visually spectacular tours of the decade.

West End Girls. It's a Sin. Always on My Mind. Go West. If you're going, you already know every word.

Sunday 5 July — Pitbull & Lil Jon

Mr. 305 closes out the 15th anniversary in the only way that makes sense: loud, relentless, and impossible to stand still to. Pitbull and Lil Jon are a pairing built for festival finales — expect Give Me Everything, Timber, Turn Down for What, and a crowd that won't stop until the lights come on.

Why Lytham Works

Most UK festivals fight for the same demographic. Lytham has carved out something different: a genuinely cross-generational crowd, a coastal setting that feels like a proper occasion, and a booking policy that mixes heritage acts with current chart names. The 15th anniversary lineup — spanning 90s alt-rock, classic synth-pop, jazz-pop, and hip-hop — is the clearest expression of that philosophy yet.

It also helps that the town itself is part of the experience. Lytham St Annes is compact, walkable, and full of independent restaurants and bars that fill up around the festival. It's a weekend, not just a gig.
