Anthrax Are Back – New Album Set for May 2026
After a 10-year wait, thrash metal titans Anthrax are finally set to release a brand-new studio album in May 2026. Fans of the band’s classic era and recent albums like For All Kings (2016) and Worship Music (2011) have reason to celebrate — and gear up.
In an exclusive interview with Long & McQuade, bassist Frank Bello shared:
“The record will come out in May. I’m very proud. It’s so heavy. Some parts are really hard to play… Joey’s vocals… he’s still killing it. It’s been 10 years, so we made sure it’s worthwhile.”
What Makes This Album Special
Bello promises a record that honors Anthrax’s legacy while delivering next-level heaviness. Fans can expect:
• Jaw-dropping riffs and technical guitar work
• Complex, challenging basslines that push musical boundaries
• Joey Belladonna’s signature powerhouse vocals front and centre
• A mix of classic thrash metal energy and fresh, bold experimentation
This isn’t just another album — it’s a metal event 10 years in the making.
