Oasis 2027 Tour: 12 Nights at the Etihad, Knebworth Return & Everything We Know So Far

July 4, 2026

One year on from the greatest comeback in rock history, Oasis are about to do it all over again — and this time, they're going even bigger.

It's been exactly one year since Liam and Noel Gallagher walked out together onto the stage at Cardiff's Principality Stadium and broke the internet. The Oasis Live '25 reunion tour became the cultural event of a generation — sold-out stadiums, record-breaking ticket demand, and a nation collectively losing its mind. And now? It looks like we're about to do it all again.

Rumours of an Oasis 2027 world tour are reaching fever pitch, with reports of a jaw-dropping 12-night residency at Manchester's Etihad Stadium, a potential return to the hallowed grounds of Knebworth, and even whispers of a Glastonbury headline slot. Here's everything we know.

Oasis Etihad Stadium 2027: The 12-Night Residency Rumours Are Getting Very Loud

Multiple sources with close ties to both Manchester City and major concert promoters have reportedly confirmed that Oasis are set to play a staggering 12-night residency at the Etihad Stadium across May and June 2027. Some insiders are even suggesting the number could climb as high as 20 dates.

A music industry source told the Manchester Evening News: "It will be 12 nights at the Etihad Stadium across May and June. It's just massive for Manchester and for the local economy. They could even add more dates to that as well, there's talk of up to 20."

To add fuel to the fire, a high-end Manchester city centre hotel has reportedly been fully block-booked from late May through June — seemingly reserved for the band and their touring party. That's not the kind of thing you do speculatively.

Liam Gallagher Has Basically Confirmed the Oasis 2027 Tour (In True Liam Fashion)

If you needed any more convincing, Liam Gallagher himself has been doing what he does best — winding fans up on social media while accidentally revealing everything.

On Friday 3 July 2026, while engaging in football banter with fans over the England v Mexico match, Liam dropped this absolute gem:

"You say that now but soon as we announce the gig nxt wk I mean nxt year I mean happy Christmas you'll be running around like headless chickens trying to get a ticket so stop acting tuff."

Classic Liam. But it gets better. When a fan asked directly: "12 nights at the Etihad??" — Liam replied: "12 I though it was 10 ffs."

That's not a denial. That's not even close to a denial. Fans immediately went into full meltdown mode, with one writing: "Don't do this to me Liam! My nerves and my wallet cant take it.....But they will cause who am I kidding, I'll be going again lol."

Oasis Knebworth 2027: Could the Legends Return?

If the Etihad residency wasn't enough, sources have also suggested that the wider Oasis 2027 tour UK dates will include a return to Knebworth — the Hertfordshire estate that hosted what are widely regarded as the greatest concerts in British rock history back in August 1996.

Those two nights at Knebworth drew a combined crowd of around 250,000 people, with an estimated 2.5 million applying for tickets. A return in 2027 — 31 years on — would be nothing short of seismic.
