About Kasabian
Kasabian were formed in Leicester, England, in 1997. The current lineup — Tom Meighan (vocals, until 2020), Serge Pizzorno (guitar, vocals), Chris Edwards (bass), and Ian Matthews (drums) — became one of the defining acts of the British indie rock scene of the 2000s. Following Tom Meighan's departure in 2020, Serge Pizzorno took over lead vocal duties.
Kasabian are known for their explosive live performances and have headlined Glastonbury Festival twice. Their music combines the swagger of Oasis with the electronic experimentation of Primal Scream and the psychedelic ambition of The Stone Roses.
